Press Application

Welcome to the Q Christian Fellowship Annual Conference! We are excited to invite members of the press to cover our event, which aims to create a space of radical affirmation and belonging for LGBTQ+ Christians and their allies. Below are the guidelines and application process for press coverage.

Press Guidelines:

  1. Accreditation:

    • All press members must be accredited by Q Christian Fellowship to gain access to the conference.

    • Accreditation is granted based on the completion and approval of the press application form.

    • Only press representing established news organizations (print, broadcast, online) are usually eligible for media passes. 

  2. Access:

    • Accredited press will receive a press badge, granting access to all general sessions and most breakout sessions.

    • Certain sessions may be restricted; details will be provided upon accreditation.

    • Under no circumstances are Press permitted to cover affinity-based spaces at our event. 

  3. Conduct:

    • Press members are expected to maintain professionalism and respect the privacy and dignity of all attendees.

    • Interviews with speakers, staff, or members of our board of directors must be pre-arranged and consent obtained in writing from staff and/or from the interviewee.

  4. Photography and Recording:

    • Photography and video recording are permitted in designated areas only.

    • Photographers, Videographers, and Members of the Press must follow our guidelines for anonymity (If someone is wearing a red lanyard then they may not be photographed and must be edited out of any video footage.)

    • Flash photography is prohibited during sessions to avoid disruptions.

  5. Content Use:

    • All content produced must credit Q Christian Fellowship and adhere to our mission of promoting inclusivity and respect. If your publication has any reservations about this, please contact Aiden Diaz. 

    • Upon request, Q Christian Fellowship reserves the right to seek and obtain for its own use all raw video/photo footage of our event programming. If your publication has any reservations about this, please contact Aiden Diaz.  

  6. Cost:

    • Members of the Press who are accepted will receive free registration to Conference. 

    • Those who are seeking access to work on a documentary film or other private work that is not connected to a public press outlet will be asked to register for Conference as an attendee to gain access to record, if approved.
