COVID-19 Health & Safety Policies

Subject to updates and revisions based on CDC guidance.

Prior & During Conference

As we continue to monitor and follow the CDC guidelines for COVID-19, also known as SARS-COV-2, all in-person Conference attendees will be encouraged to be vaccinated against the SARS-COV-2 virus. Masks are also encouraged as we remain mindful that there are vulnerable members of our community who will be at Conference.

Vaccines have been deemed exceptionally effective at protecting against severe illness and death from COVID-19, though no vaccine is perfect. Moreover, they greatly reduce the odds of infection if a vaccinated individual is exposed to the virus. For more on the efficacy of and common questions pertaining to vaccines, click here.

We strongly encourage attendees planning to attend Conference to get tested for SARS-COV-2 within 72 hours prior to arriving at the venue as an additional precaution.

If you test positive for SARS-COV-2 or have any symptoms suggesting illness within 72 hours of the Conference, you will not be permitted to attend. You will be refunded the cost difference between virtual and in-person registration.

We encourage all attendees to bring their own multi-layer masks (KN95s or N95s are strongly encouraged). However, for those in need of a mask during the Conference, a limited supply of masks will be available at the Registration Table while supplies last.

In the Event of Illness During or After Conference

In the event you begin to experience symptoms of illness or learn of a direct exposure during or within 7 days of the Conference, please immediately notify the QCF staff (office@qchristian.org) and isolate yourself from others. Best efforts will be made for your identity to be protected, and steps will be taken to notify the Community of any number of positive incidents. We will work to notify those who attended the same Breakouts and any offsite gatherings so that they can also take precautions such as self-isolating and obtaining testing.

Following a confirmed exposure, the CDC recommends that you take precautions (such as wearing a high-quality mask or respirator), watch for symptoms, and immediately get tested.

Any questions or concerns should be directed to the QCF staff (at office@qchristian.org).
